The first Massapequa Funeral Home. (1945)
|
From our family to your family
Massapequa Funeral Home is there for you.
Since 1945, we at the Massapequa Funeral Home have been a family-owned and operated business, with expertise passed on from one generation to the next. And, as Massapequas oldest business, these three generations, from Albert and Vera Michalek, to Allen and Caroline Nicholson, to Travis and Theresa Nicholson, have come to know many families, local and afar, on a personal level. This personal connection is what we stress most to help you to make better and more-informed decisions at an extremely difficult time in ones life. We want you to feel comfortable with the people that you are working with and the surroundings that you are in.
Massapequa Funeral Home offers two chapels in the Massapequa area for you to choose from. Our newly renovated North chapel is located on Park Boulevard, north of Sunrise Highway. Visitors to this home are familiar with the warmth of our cozy fireplace and the traditional settings that offer the feeling of actually walking into someones personal residence. Or, we have our newest addition to the business our South chapel, located on Merrick Road, across from Massapequa High School. Here, also you are greeted by the comforts of a burning fireplace, surrounded by a caring and attentive family of directors and staff.
Our work, both here and afar, has been marked over the decades with a total commitment to the families and communities that we serve. From our family to your family, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, we are there to help you through a most difficult time.
