There was never a time that I passed Christine in the hallway or visited her classroom where she didn't make me laugh or smile. She was one of a kind and I will miss her dearly. My sincere condolences to her family. God bless!
Rachelle Alter left a message on May 9, 2016:
I was fortunate to have worked for many years with Christine. I stopped by her classroom daily for a dose of her brilliant, witty sense of humor and her intelligent and intellectually stimulating conversations. I loved hearing her tell stories about Jack and seeing the gleam in her eyes as she spoke about him. She shared successful strategies to utilize in teaching my four year old son how to read that she said she had used when teaching Jack how to read at a young age. Christine was someone I respected as a doting and devoted mother, committed and caring teacher, dedicated and loyal co-worker and a true and dear friend. She will be missed by many but will remain in our hearts and memories forever.

A wonderful person. As my son's kindergarten teacher at PS 135, she was the greatest. His fondest wish was that she would've taught his little brother next year so that he too can "get what I got" from her. We are deeply saddened to have lost Ms. Falzarano. We will miss you and you will always be in our memories.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Christine touched so many lives. I'm grateful I had the chance to know her as both a colleague and a wonderful friend. I had many opportunities to work with Chris over the past 16 years and I had always admired how organized and easygoing she was. You're in so many of our thoughts today , Your loss is felt by all.

Ms. Falzarano was a great inspiration for the poeple who knew her, including me. We spend a lot of time together sharing our ideas, our work, our concerns and our experiences. I have to say that as we got to know each other well, we became friends. I had the honor of covering her class the last few weeks of my staying at P.S.135. As I became her substitute, every day her students and I spoke about her and about how much they were learning because when their teacher, Ms.Falzarano, was ready to come back they wanted her to feel proud of them. We exchanged letters. As I read her letter to her students - there was emotion in their faces. They were happy to hear from her. They knew they teacher cared for them and loved them deeply. It was one of the most beautiful letters I have ever read from a teacher to her students. Ms. Falzarano will always stay in my heart. Memories last a lifetime when they come from loving and caring people like her. My condolences to the family.

Dear Chris. You were one of the first friends I made at PS 135. I will remember the speechless glances when we shared disdain, exasperation and humor. I deeply hope you are no longer suffering. You will be missed.
