Claire A. Coleman passed away on May 18, 2016. Beloved wife of the late James, she married her one true love in 1948 & moved to Massapequa Park in 1955. Raising their children there, Claire remained in her beloved home after James passed away in 1980 at 56 years old. Retiring at age 70 from Macy's, Claire went to work at Our Lady of Lourdes School until she was 85. Graced with a true sense of style, talented gardener & masterful quilter, she crocheted innumerable blankets for generations of babies while watching her favorite sports teams. Loving mother of Daniel (Maureen), Joseph (Christine), Matthew (Darryl), Claire Cavanaugh (Dermod) and Mary Forrester (Stanford). Adored grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 6. Dear sister of Buddy (John) Hever & Jean Edwards.
