My favorite memory of Uncle Joel was when I was younger I used to stay with my grandma a lot and sometimes felt like I was trapped and could not go out a lot Uncle Joel would come down once a week and take me down to Myrtle Avenue and we would walk to the hot dog vendor Gus and get a shish kabob then we would proceed to walk Toward Cypress Avenue where rainbows and the lingerie store used to be he would stop at the lingerie store and go real close to the window and look in and start panting like a puppy it was so embarrassing but at the same time so funny it would always make me laugh I always felt like I could talk to Uncle's Joel then we would continue walking back to Grandma's he was a wonderful uncle and even better a great friend he will always be in my memories I love you and miss you always my prayers are with his family
