Goodbyes are not forever Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again.So my dear cousin John Shea, until we meet again do rest in peace. Though the past 30 years has had its challenges for you (to say the least) I know of no one who met them head on as you. You were a great warrior, one who fought the good fight, one who never allowed himself to wallow in sorrow. This will be a big part of your legacy, along with your tenacity for life. I by no means wish for this alone to define you, because there were many blessings in your life as well. You were blessed to witness your children get married, to see your grandchildren born. To celebrate 50 years of marriage to your wonderful wife Julie, and to share many wonderful memories with your loving supportive family.I choose to define you for your ability to walk into a room and light it up, your ability to always see the humor in life.
