I was told about her blog randomly at a doctors visit when I broke down in tears when how many children I had. My 33 year son passed in April from melanoma leaving 2 children behind. What a beautiful women, my heart aches for all of you. Makes me so mad that they are not coming far enough with this cancer to save these young lives. I am gong to do my best to help bring awareness in Lisa and my son Bryan's memories. God Bless you all, and heaven certainly has 2 angels who were angels on earth.

I write through my tears. My heart is with all those who loved Lisa. She fought and showed such courage. How well I know the pain of this physical separation but have no doubt you will feel her presence and guidance. Love is a bond that can not be broken. My prayers for your strength.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

At Mercy First, Lisa was always there for the boys and of course the staff. She made cake and cookies for holiday sales, bingo nights and family picnics. In addition, she went on all-day trips to places like the Bronx Zoo, Mystic, CT, etc. If that wasn't enough, she always helped setting up for major events, to lessen my responsibilities, then still do her own job. Lisa was a great co-worker who I will miss. She had such strength, and endurance. Many people didn't even know she was sick. She inspired me every day, and my memory of her will live on forever.
