So sorry to hear of Mel's passing. Bagel Boss was my first job and I remember Mel counting out the $1 bills for my first payday. Had many memorable and fun experiences working with him and his great family at the Hicksville store. My deepest condolences to the entire Rosner and Bagel Boss family. Steve (Marty) Levin.

My condolences to the Rosner family-- Mel and my father Richard were lifelong friends. My dad's face would always light up when he spoke about Mel, and when my father got sick Mel sent along a lot of positivity and well, love, to my Dad. I'm sure the two of them are catching up right now.

Our family lived blocks from the Rosner family in N.Massapequa. I first met Mel when he worked at Kossars Bialy bakery in Brooklyn with my Dad in the 1950s. I also worked with Mel when I joined the Bialy union Local 3. My Dad always talked fondly of Mel. May God Bless him and his family during this sad time. He was a good man and he had a wonderful sense of humor during the time he worked with myself and my Dad.
