Just heard of Natalie's passing when we inquired about her at Astoria Bank. She was so patient and helpful to our elderly grandmother, we were impatiently waiting for her to come back. Very sad to learn of her death. She was a very sweet lady.

I am so so sad to hear this news. Natalie was such a beautiful woman with a bright smile. Our boys grew up together during the Birch Lane days. My prayers are with her family at this time and I pray especially for Natalie's boys. May God's unending love fill the hole in their hearts during this very sad time of pain and grief.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Natalie was my sons East teacher at Lockhart from 3rd grade -5th grade in 2004-2007. She helped my son become the student he is now, which he made deans list the last 3 semesters. She gave him the tools to study and the confidence he needed to succeed. Through the years we talked about our families, how our sons played sports, especially baseball. When I saw her through the years she would always ask how he was doing. Natalie really cared, she was a beautiful person inside and out. Thank you Natalie, you will be missed.

Natalie was such a kind, caring, and patient person. I had the privilege of working with her and witnessing her dedication to her students. She was their advocate, always giving them encouragement and the biggest smile each day. My heart breaks for her family and for all of us who will miss her so much. Rest in peace sweet Natalie. You're an angel in heaven.
Kathy Riley left a message on March 28, 2015:
Natalie was one of my son's fifth grade teachers back in 1985. Joe said today that she was one of his favorites at Lockhart because she was "sweet and always smiling." When I met Natalie that year, I was so taken with openness, her compassion for the kids and her big smile. Thank you, Natalie, for what you gave Joe and all the kids in Mrs. Sica's fifth grade class. Joe is only one of many who recalls you with great fondness. God bless you Natalie.
