Dear Kenny and Janine,I am sorry to hear of Phil's passing this morning. I am sorry for your loss.I wanted to let you know about the Phil that I knew:When I was a newbie in Huntington and I didn't have a clue about commercial products, I would go to the counter side for help. It was Phil's desk I gravitated to. He was always nice, funny and helpful. Why I picked Phil, when I knew no one, could only be thought as my inner me knew he was a good guy. When I was no longer a newbie and now working in Hicksville, there were many times that lunch was never an option. I would go over to Phil complain that I was hungry and ask him what he was hiding in his drawer. He always had chips and cheese doodles in his drawer and would always be happy to offer me whatever he had. As well as, there were many times, I just helped myself to his already opened bag.He was a gentle soul and a gentleman full of years of plumbing knowledge who loved his afternoon snacks and kind enough to share it all. May he rest in peaceIt just felt right to bring a bag of chips to the wake. I hope you understandGina

We have lost another truly wonderful human being with the passing of Phil. I have known Phil nearly 30 years. We had many wonderful conversations and he was always very sweet and kind to me. Whenever I did get to see him , he always had a smile and open arms for a hug. When I got the text from Janine Saturday, my heart sunk. I felt at such a loss of knowing what to say. I was very fond of him. Heaven has gained an Angel that is looking down on us and smiling at us , protecting his family from above. You will Always be remembered Phil and NEVER BE FORGOTTEN . God Bless us all for having known you.... :) Hugs & Smiles Phil.....
