Seany boy - aka laddie.... I have nothing but fond and fun memories of the past 33 plus years. I've been reflecting on them, and these are just some of the classics... Spanish and math class, proms, hockey, football, skiing... the Jets, the Police, the Bel Air/Beach Mobile, and of course, our special walks. You will be missed, but not forgotten. May you rest in peace with the Lord. My deepest sympathy to the McCarty Family.

Thinking and praying for Sean, the McCarty family and friends - my condolences to all. So many memories from growing up in Massapequa together and most of them all include seeing Sean's smile, feeling his easy-going attitude and knowing that you could ALWAYS count on him being there for you as a friend. We will miss you Seanie-Boy.

We were next-door neighbors to the McCarty family from 1964 thru 1997, so my sister and I grew up playing with Sean and his older siblings (Andrea, Buddy, Carol & Patrick). Our deepest condolences to ‘Uncle Mac’ and the rest of the family on Sean’s passing.

I met Sean as a college intern nearly 14 years ago. He showed me that while very serious business was going on we could still have fun. Sean could always be counted on if you needed him. We didn't work together for the whole 14 years but when we did work together it was like we were never parted. His easy wit and smile will truly be missed. Thank you for sharing him with us.

My condolences to the McCarty family. Such sad news to hear of your loss. I was a college friend/fraternity brother of Sean's. Although I had not seen him in many years, it's clear from reading other memories shared, Sean had not lost his great sense of humor. He was always fun to be around. What I remember most, everything started with "Dude..." Puts a smile on my face thinking about it. We will miss you!!

I had the pleasure of knowing Sean through work for only 5 short years. He never met a stranger, his quick wit would brighten our day and he very much enjoyed helping others as he did in his annual support for the Walk for the Blind. From Sean we can learn alot. Be thankful for each day and tell your family and friends how much you care and love them. I will miss him alot. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

Sean, I still remember the very day we met. #3 tee box about 10 years ago. I was playing with my Dad and some dude pulls up in a cart and yells out, "You guys mind if I join you". After finishing nine holes, Big Dave looked at me and said "He's a good guy, you guys are probably going to play a lot of golf". And he was 100% correct. I'm going to miss you, buddy.
