My deepest sympathy to Tom's family and fiance. Tommy was so sweet and so funny. He was the kind of person you were psyched to see hanging out. My last memories of him were at X-Games. One of the days we were working with one of the camera men and I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing and I was like thank god you're here with me buddy so we can be lost together! He also totally amazed me with his crazy snowboarding skills. It's hard to hear that he's passed on.....I know he's on that next journey now, but still with all of his loved ones forever in spirit.

I am incredibly saddened to hear about Tommy's passing. Tommy was the kind of guy that could light up a room and make you smile. A man with a kind heart and a love for his family and friends. After college, I would run into him in NYC a few times, and he was as I would think, exactly the same person- funny, sweet and caring. My heart goes out to his family.

My family and I are deeply saddened with the loss of such an amazing person. Tommy was an amazing man in every way possible. A tremendous athlete with a tremendous heart. Always brightening a room with his laughter and making sure everyone laughed with him. We grew up together and were friends til the end. I am honored that I got to spend so much time with him while he was here and wish that there would be more of those uncontrollable laugh sessions we used to have. From all of the inside jokes to the absolute love for life and it's journey, Tom enjoyed every second of it. My deepest heartfelt condolences to his amazing family and his millions of friends. R.I.P Tommy. Until we meet again old friend, you will always be in the back of my mind cracking a joke to make me smile for old time sake. Rest easy brother.

Tommy..what a sweet boy you are. Tommy was very special to me in my last year of SUNY Plattsburgh and I'll never forget the look on his face when I came up to surprise him in LI from Atlanta at his brother's restaurant. For anyone reading this, they know he was talented in so many venues and God is lucky to have him in heaven. I can't imagine what your family and fiancée are feeling so my heart goes out to them beyond words. The news is beyond shocking and I pray for solace for the ones closest to him.

My heart goes out to the Maiorino family. Tommy was an extraordinary guy who I've know since he was very young. His talents were many, his love of his craft immeasurable and he loved his family with all of his being. My heart goes out to the family. Tommy was an exceptional guy and all my memories of him are wonderful. He was at my son's Bar Mitzvah and he misspoke his name which embarrassed him but we all laughed it off and had lots of fun. I will always remember his generosity and love of family. I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace, Tom. Love you so much!

I can not begin to express how deeply saddened I am over Tom's death and on the eve of his marriage to my dear niece, Elizabeth.who radiated in the sunshine and glow of their mutual love. While death has ended his earthly life it can not and will not end nor dull the love, warmth, and affection that he will always have in the hearts and souls of the members of the Nastro family. For as long as each of us lives, he will be remembered lovingly.

Tom taught me to be myself and to never apologize for it. He taught me true fortunate lies in family and friends. Such beautiful perspective from Tom. I'll carry his lessons in my heart right beside the memories of his sharp smile and infectious laugh. Man, that laugh. And what an achievement it would be to find in someone else what he and Lizzie found in each other. Lizzie - I've never seen his face beam brighter than when he was by your side. We are all here for you. I will miss Tom as much as I respect Tom... so, so, very, massively much, always.

Tommy and I went to college together. We quickly became close friends and our little crew of wild Rockland and Long Island boys made the very best we could of our time up in the frozen tundra of Plattsburgh. Ill remember Tommy as a dynamic, exciting and very sensitive guy. And for the way he inspired me and likely many others indulge in life and take more risks. We recently reconnected and had been planning to hang. I was really looking forward to catching up with my old friend and am very sorry I missed my chance.Condolences to his family. Id guess that losing a guy like Tommy leaves a whole in family that cant be filled.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Tom’s family and friends. Tom was so full of life and joy. He was always the first to run over and give you a hug when you walked into a room. The first one on the dance floor to lighten the mood. And the first one to laugh at your joke. He had such a great laugh too. Tom just knew had to make everyone around him happier. I’ve had so many special times with Tom and will be forever thankful that I can call him a friend. There will always be a piece of Tom in my heart to tell me to smile more, love more and laugh more.
