A very special man and a great friend. I worked w/ Dennis both at US Probation and US Customs where we both had service as officers and agents. Even though I moved on to the Customs Philadelphia office we kept in touch throughout the years. I have never met Rosemary but feel that I know her as Dennis never concluded a talk without referring to her in a loving way. He was a true man, both courageous and kind and his family and friends are so much better off having known him.

Dennis has been a friend for a very long time. Not the kind of friend you see or talk to every day - but the kind that makes it fell that way every time you meet. From the times he would ask me to give his little girls a call and talk to them as a special character - to the day I retired he was always a breath of fresh air. A serious and productive Agent, and a happy, loving family man. I am sure that when he arrives at the gates of heaven there will be a sign that says "céad míle fáilte, Denis" Welcome home, Dennis.

Dennis was one of the most unassuming and honest fellows I have known. A real person. We served together in Eastern District's Federal Probation Department. He spoke often of his wife and daughters and always with an infectious smile. I believe his life continues but no longer in physical space.Rest in peace, Dennis.

A decent human being...He was one of the good guys at U.S. probation,EDNY. A family man, I remember him showing me a new fangled contraption, called a beeper,, explaining that his pregnant wife could be in almost immediate contact with him. I thought that was the coolest!! That was Dennis.
Armin Ali left a message on October 31, 2018:
One of our top officers at US Probation, EDNY, and respected by all. Always smiling or with robust laughter with his jokes and pranks. So very sad to lose him.

Bill Brennan left a message on October 28, 2018:
I'll never forget Dennis' hearty laugh. Here's an example: we were in the field together when an elderly woman's dog got off the leash and she was in great distress. Dennis opened his door and cajoled the pup into the car with "Come here honey and the dog recognized a friendly voice then jumped and jumped into Dennis' lap to be petted then he jumped on my lap and urinated on my pants. Dennis' roaring laugh filled the car until the woman came over and thanked us. Problem is we were late for a retirement party and I kept saying" It wasn't me, Dennis." lured a dog into our car" to some skepticism and a big grin on Dennis' face' . They don't come any better than Dennis.

My memory of Dennis was his sense of humor. He was such a funny guy. But most important, a good and decent man and a wonderful loving husband, father and grandpa. He will be missed dearly.
