Patty, Tommy, Catherine and families:We are so sorry to hear about Michael. Although I had not seen him in years I will never forget his generous spirit. On the day your mom was buried Michael learned Jimmy and me were Yankee fans. He had us stop and he went in his house and came out with a Yankees jacket and sweatshirt that he insisted we take! What an incredible thing to do in his time of grief. I will always remember Michael when I wear the Yankee jacket. May he Rest In Peace. Our sincere condolences: David,Donna, Lauren Matteodo

John Conners left a message on April 2, 2019:
Michael, my first and best friend. You and I were like each others shadow growing up. When one of us turned around, the other was there. If I rode my bike, you were on my handlebars. If we walked anywhere we were side by side. Time and life got between us as years went by, but you will always be my First Best Friend. I'm so sorry for losing you, even years before today! But know you will always be my friend, and have a special place in my heart! May God bless and your brother & sisters, and may you have God's eternal peace, back home with Mom & Dad! Give your Mom & my Mom a kiss for me. Love, John.
