I also had the honor and privilege to work for Chief Willis as a Police Trainee in the late 60's/early 70's in Patrol Boro Manhattan South (when he was a Deputy Inspector). He truly was a role model for the impressionable Police Trainees that worked in PBMS. And we learned from him "Integrity, Honesty & a solid work ethic as everyone of the Trainees working there advanced beyond the rank of Police Officer. Rest in Peace Chief....... I had the privilege to work for the "Chief" during his tenure in Manhattan South Boro in the 70's. he was tough but fair. He was truly old school. He was very knowledgeable about all facets of the job. He was trul a "Chief " of men. God bless you.
