I too only found out about Chris' death when my Christmas card came back. I am so sad. She was my boss for 10 years at NYIT in the Office of College Relations. We had a special bond. She even attended my wedding in 1983. A beautiful soul indeed.

I am so saddened to see Ms. Capone has passed. I had her as my religion teacher in the mid 90s at St. Pauls and we have exchanged Christmas cards every year since then. When I didn't receive one this year, I knew something had happened. God bless her kind, beautiful soul.
Rev. Marc J. Roselli, S.J. left a message on August 7, 2017:
Chris Capone has been a dear friend for ten years. I met her when I began working at St. Ignatius Retreat House in Manhasset. She had been working in the front office for many years and did a great deal of work in publicity. I will miss her for her kindness, quick wit, candor, sense of humor and loyal friendship. She was a faithful correspondent with her letters to me when I was overseas in the missions and even after my return. I am very sad at her passing, but will always remember her with love and gratitude. May she rest in Christ's peace and love.
Elizabeth Greenberg left a message on August 7, 2017:
Ms.Capone as the St.Paul religious education students lovingly called her, was the most caring, spiritual person I have ever known. Her faith exuded in all she did. She was an excellent role model to the 4th & 8th grade students she instructed. Her faith and love for her religion guided children for 25 years because of Chris! How kind and loving and caring! The world is a better place because Chris passed our way and I am certain she is an angel in heaven.

Rose ANN Humphrey left a message on August 6, 2017:
Christine was my Sweetest first cousin and our caring was deep and real. We talked very often up until less than 2 weeks ago. She never spoke of bad news to me, although I was worried about her many bouts with coughs and colds over the last winter and into spring. Christine was one of my most favorite people on earth. I cannot express my deep sadness for this loss. I feel comfort knowing her love of God and that she will reconnect with her mom and dad. She missed them very much. God Bless her and her immediate family she leaves behind., especially my cousin George whom she loved very much. Rose Ann
