MICHAEL DONI left a message on November 1, 2017:
Mike, you and I haven't spoke in years, that being said this is still so very heartbreaking. You were my best friend growing up, hanging out at Rose street park, playing ball or army, sleepovers eating Doritos watching SNL, building forts in the sump, etc. We grew apart as we got older, but memories always remain. I know your in a better place now, still way too young. My heart goes out to your parents Paul & Jean and your siblings. R.I.P. Buddy.

Seems like such a short time ago when you were just a little bundle of joy, & I held you in my arms, so proud & happy of the little man that God had given my buddy Paul. As the years progressed, & you grew from a little man to a strong young gentleman, I could always count on a big smile as you walked briskly to me every time I arrived for the many great times we all shared, & you made me feel like I was another one of your Uncle's. The way you looked out for your Two beautiful sister's-your dad & I were so proud of you. And then last year, we became closer friends than ever for a short while, & you told me things you have never told anyone else in your lifetime-one troubled adult to another. I tried to help you, & you succeeded in helping me-thank you so much for that.I will never forget you Mike, not as a baby, a young man, nor during our short but very special effort to try to help each other through very difficult times. I Loved you like a son, & I will always love you for all that you were, through both the good & not so good times. May God now embrace you & bring you the peace & joy you desired so much in your bittersweet, way too short time in the lifetime you had here. Many may say this, but it's true; You're in a much better place, even if only eternal sleep. But I believe you're in Paradise, & well aware of your new existence. I wish I could trade places with you & put in a good word for you in Heaven. Truly, I wish that Mike. but I can't, & I know in my Soul you will put in a few good one's for me. Rest in blissful peace Michael. I will think of you, pray for you, & grieve for you, but also celebrate the good times you shared with all of us. And they were so many. I thank God for those times. May God Bless & bring comfort to each & every member of the Arnone family, the Mauro family, & to each & every friend & person who had the privilege of seeing that one of a kind smile & friendliness that was Michael V. Arnone. With my sincerest & most heartfelt condolences,J.R.

Mike was a very good friend to my older brother, and like most little brothers are concerned, I always wanted to hang out with mine and his friends. Mike was always that classic, cool jerk that you looked up to no matter who you were. It's kind of strange because when you're younger, you tend to take things people say and do so seriously. I didn't get Mike till I was older and that he was only kidding with me when I was little. What's interesting is, that it didn't matter what he said to you because you wanted his approval, anyway. I suspect that's because everyone knew that there was a funny, kind and caring person behind all of it. Mike just had that kind of magic. It seems weird because I've barely seen him in the last 15 years, but I definitely will miss him.
