I remember Richie smiling at our wedding in Phoenix when he and Betty came out in 1998, and his love of fishing and boating on his boat in the Great South Bay. He served in many ways first in the army and then as a policeman, finally as an accountant. Most of all I remember he and Betty smiling and waving goodbye to us standing in front of their home in Seaford the last time we were at their house a few years ago. May you find peace and rest now at last.

My Uncle Richie was a smart, hardworking, quiet man who loved my Aunt Betty and my cousins Little Richie and Susan. My most vivid memories are of Christmas times at my mom's home in Granby. Uncle Richie would always bring stuffed animals for the little kids. There were hours of talks about taxes and investments and occasionally politics. I learned a lot about finance listening to the discussions. He also liked to talk about police work and vacationing in the Keys and the Poconos. May you Rest In Peace, Uncle Richie. You lived life well.
